The Alajuela FTZ covers 60 acres (total area of 241,280.14 square meters). Currently the park has an approximate developed area of 20,000 square meters and an area to be developed of 161.412,95 square meters.
INFRASTRUCTURE AND BUILDINGS The industrial buildings in the Zeta Industrial Parks are built by “ESCOSA” with anti-seismic precast prestressed concrete structures that allow quick and efficient construction as well as economic expansion together with great savings in the consumption of electric energy due to the fact that natural lighting is maximized. The floor is approximately 5 inches thick and it has a resistance of 3.500 pouns-sq.in. All accesses can be as wide as the client deems necessary. ELECTRICAL INFRAESTRUCTURE
The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) is the electrical utility company that supplies energy to the Alajuela FTZ. The electrical network of the park (three phase internal circuit) is fed directly by an electrical substation named “Montecillos”. PHONE AND DATA
ICE also delivers telephone, data and internet connection services. The park has an IMAP within their premises connected to Alajuela’s Telephone Central Station by a fiber optic connection system.
Second telecom provider is Radiográfica Costarricense S.A. (RACSA). RACSA services mainly provide internet broadband. It services are provided upon request.

- International & local dedicated lines - Internet Lines (T1 = 1544kbps, E1 = 2048kbps) - ISDN - ADSL - Telephone Lines (provided only by ICE). - Support telephone line (800-soporte) available to receive remote assistance from ICE technicians (available upon request).
POTABLE WATER
A reliable potable water service is supplied by the Alajuela local government (Municipalidad de Alajuela). An excellent telecommunications system insures the Park users first rate services of telex, facsimile, cable, telegram and direct telephone dialing to nearly 100 countries.
