The park is located in Alajuela province. It is located in the Central Valley (metropolitan area) about 12 miles (20 km) from San José the nation capital city.
The city of Alajuela has an estimated population of 250,800 inhabitants and it is considered one of the most important cities of Costa Rica.
Alajuela Free Trade Zone is located just 2 miles (3.2 km) from the International Airport. It is the best choice for those companies whose import and export require air cargo services. Its location is right next to the Inter-American (Panamerican) Highway, for that reason the park also offers convenient access to all major seaports.
Neighboring areas provide the park with an abundant supply of workers who are attracted by employment opportunities in close proximity to their homes.
